My Music Video - What Makes Me, Me?

By watching this movie, I hope that people who don’t know me so well, and even my closest friends get to know a bit more about me. The six categories that I chose to be represented in my video were family, school, friends, nationality, and hobbies. I had the most pictures for friends. I tried to represent that I am very social and like to talk with my peers as well as people who are older or younger than me. I am very attached to my family and friends. I am a happy, social, and cheerful person. I like to be with a group of people instead of being alone. This is why in most of the photos, I am with somebody else. Instead of keeping my worries to myself, I like to confide in the people I trust. I also like to listen to other people’s troubles and help them out too. Also, I wanted to explain some things about the picture from my nationality category. I had a picture of the Korean letters and vowels. The Korean language is a part of my everyday life. It is essential. I also had a picture of two people bowing together. Respect is a very important aspect in Korean culture, especially to the people who are older than you, so I guess I’m a polite person. I also LOVE music. Music is one of my biggest passions. I like to play instruments and listen to music too. I can’t imagine movies, TV shows, and basically the whole world WITHOUT any sound or music.
I had some technical problems while making my video. First, I wasn't used to making movies on Windows Movie Maker. But as I made my video, I got the hang of things and figured everything out. Gathering all my pictures with the license was pretty simple, but VERY time - consuming. I tried my best to find pictures that would really represent who I am. However, I was able to download Freecorder 5 and use it to get my music pretty easily. Once I filled out my planning document and got all my precentages, I put up all my pictures in the order that I wanted, then put the transitions, and finally put the music. I realized that the project would take me more than just a few hourse to finish. I felt so happy and proud of myself when I was finally done. It took me several days to make it just the way I wanted it to be. I was OVERWHELMED with joy because I was finally done! I showed my video to my mom and she was pleased too. :) The file of my video was too big, so I had to reduce it to post this on blogger, which is why it might seem quite blurry. Above all, I really enjoyed doing this project because it was a new challenge for me and I learned many new things, including things about myself.
